I'm Ready for Spring & Summer

 It's this time of year that I start thinking about Beach Vacations and Cruises. 
 I recently took my daughter, her husband and our 3 Grandchildren, ages 17, 14 & 11 on a cruise to Key West and the Bahamas.  It was their first cruise and we loved seeing them enjoy all the new experiences - Swimming with the Dolphins, Snorkeling,  Learning how to make Towel Animals from the Cruise Steward, Enjoying the Cruise Ship Water slide and Putt-Putt Golf Course and of course the never ending Food (hamburgers, pizza, ice cream, unlimited breakfast, all their favorites) while the adults enjoyed more gourmet foods.  Cruising is something we really enjoy...not only the

Bahamas, but New England and Canada, Alaska and more.  

I love getting ready for Spring and Summer vacations 

which always means plenty of 

swimwear accessories. 

  Can't go anywhere without my lace swimwear cover-ups.  

It's fun to have so many and wear a different one everyday.

  
So many ways to wear these! 

And you can even wear them in the evening with a dress or pants as a shawl.

Decorating Your Home and Your Life with Lace

Over the last few years I have started decorating several areas of my home with Lace Items.  Never thought I would do this because it looked so old fashion or Victorian.  What I have discovered is that the lace really brings out many other decorating aspects in my home.  I have recently gotten back into Pottery and I have started using the lace to enhance my Pottery displays.

I've also used the lace table runners, placemats, napkins and doilies to create my table decorations.

 

Now I've started offering lace items for Weddings.  Ivory Wedding Shawls seem all the rage.  I recently sold 14 Red Shawls for a Wedding in Italy.  Table Runners, Table Clothes and Doilies have been flying off the shelf.
